06/08/19 Doce Pit Cleanup Project in Prescott

On Saturday, June 8th, 2019, 140 volunteers, including 32 youth volunteers, helped us remove 4.27 tons of trash from Doce Pit, that’s 8,540 pounds of trash no longer littering this beautiful part of the Prescott National Forest. Volunteers also helped us celebrate our 50th volunteer cleanup event!

This project was financed in part by a grant from the Arizona Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Recreation Fund administered by Arizona State Parks & Trails. Learn more about our grant HERE.

We would also like to thank the following organizations for helping us make this event possible: Big Daddy E’s Smokin’ BBQ, Copperpoint Insurance Companies, Desert Monsters Tours, Garland Signs & Specialties, Home Depot in Prescott off of AZ-69, Icon Vehicle Dynamics, Icon Alloys, Illuminated Funds Group, LeBaron & Carroll Insurance, Mr Target, Nichols Auto Fab, OdySea Aquarium Foundation, REI, Salt River Project, Sierra Expeditions, Tru Flask, the Prescott National Forest Service, & Wrecked Gear.
