Education

Glendale Conservation Society High School Students - 9/10/17 Cleanup

We encourage environmental stewardship in youth by getting them out of the classroom and into nature. We provide hands-on service learning opportunities for youth of all ages.

We encourage parents to bring their kids to our youth-friendly volunteer events for service education opportunities, and to be a part of a positive community project that provides an immediate, visible impact. It's a great time for the whole family!

We work with elementary, middle, high school, and college students and groups, scout groups, Boys & Girls Club, National Honor Society, and other youth organizations.

Glendale Conservation Society High School Students - 04/15/17 Cleanup

Many schools require volunteer hours each semester. We provide team building opportunities and hand-on service projects that encourage youth to be lifelong stewards of our natural resources.

If you are a student, parent, or teacher & would like to discuss future projects, please contact us. We can accommodate small and large groups.

Public Awareness

We increase public awareness in the community by hosting cleanups throughout the year. We host events in the Central and Southern portion of the state October through April, and move our events North when temperatures heat up May through September.

Our volunteer cleanup events provide communities, families, friends, coworkers, and complete strangers opportunities to work together to create immediate, positive chance on the environment.
