Our Mission
Our mission is to remove trash & graffiti from outdoor recreation & wilderness areas, revitalize natural areas through replanting projects, and enrich the lives of Military Veterans & other community members. We accomplish our mission by hosting volunteer cleanup events throughout the year for community members, including youth volunteers, and we manage & support a Dedicated Restoration Team with contracted Military Veterans who conduct restorations beyond the reach of most volunteers.
Our Vision
Our vision is to keep natural areas clean and open to the public.
We remove trash and graffiti from outdoor recreation and wilderness areas throughout the state of Arizona and we revitalize natural areas through replanting projects.
We provide contract work to Military Veterans on our Dedicated Restoration Team and host volunteer events for the community, including youth volunteers.
We have a passion for nature and we believe outdoor restorations and education ensures everyone will be able to enjoy outdoor recreation and wilderness areas. We approach every project with a commitment to long-term change and making lasting impacts in communities across the state. Click HERE for completed volunteer restorations.
We launched our Dedicated Restoration Team in February 2017 and contracted Military Veterans to work on our team. Our Dedicated Restoration Team works throughout the year to restore areas around the state that see continual dumping, areas too remote for volunteers, areas that are spread out over more than a few miles, and natural areas with graffiti. We launched our replanting project with our team November 2020. Our team gives us the opportunity to give back to the Veteran Community and provide veterans with time in nature.
In addition to site restorations, we are dedicated to educating youth and adults on the importance of caring for and restoring natural areas. We provide hands-on activities that encourage lifelong environmental stewardship, volunteerism, and team building for youth, families, and communities across Arizona. Everyone is welcome at our events! Youth volunteers are welcome when they are accompanied and supervised by a parent, guardian or adult group leader.
