Munds Park OHV Trail Cleanup
On Saturday, July 23rd, volunteers joined us for a cleanup on the Coconino National Forest. We hit the trails and removed scattered trash from the trails around Munds Park, near Flagstaff.
28 volunteers helped us remove 1,400 pounds of trash! Thank you to everyone who helped us make a positive impact on this area!
Volunteers found carpet, wrappers, plastic & glass bottles, beer cans, a camp chair, pizza boxes, zip ties & twist ties, styrofoam & plastic cups & plates, a dog food bowl, plastic cutlery, cardboard boxes, grocery bags, rugs, metal, broken glass, bagged trash others left behind, & more!
Thank you to Matt Sommer and everyone at the Coconino National Forest Service for your support of this event!
This event was financed through a grant from the Arizona Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Recreation Fund administered by Arizona State Parks & Trails.
