Power Road near the lower salt river Restoration Project
on the tonto national forest
8,460 pounds of trash removed (4.23 tons)
In May, our Dedicated Restoration Team, along with the Tonto National Forest Service - Mesa Ranger District and three volunteers helped us remove 9 trash sites, including an abandoned squatter camp, off of Power Road near the Lower Salt River in Mesa on the Tonto National Forest. The abandoned camp had been there since approximately 2018. *Please note, we do not take on restoration projects where anyone is actively living.
This project was sponsored by Republic Services. Thank you to everyone at Republic Services for donating two dumpsters for this project, we are grateful for your continued support of our restorations!
